  • 360 degree integral floating display

  •      Ø Main goal is to display 3D image in the 360 degree horizontal, wide vertical viewing angle.
         Ø Full-parallax omnidirectional integral-floating image display with 360 degree viewing zone.
         Ø Rotating mirror tailors 3D different perspectives while monocular and binocular depth cues are achieved.
         Ø Mirror rotation and projection are synchronized each other (Motor as master & Projection as slave).
         Ø Vertical viewing angle can be increased as well by controlling the focal length of convex mirror.

  • DEIGR algorithm and multi-directional projections-based integral imaging display

  •      Ø EIs (elemental images) are generated by using DEIGR (directional elemental image generation and resizing) algorithm in order to directional projections.
         Ø Multi-directional sequential projection scheme allows the sequential projections of multiple EI sets from different angular directions
         Ø Each elemental lens of the lens array collects multi-directional illuminations of multiple EI sets and produces multiple point light sources at the different positions in the focal plane. The positions of the point light sources can be controlled by the projection angles.
         Ø The light rays emerging from multi-directional EI sets enhance the diverging ray angle as well the viewing angle of the reconstructed 3D images.
         Ø The viewing zone is made consisting of multiple diverging ray bundles, wider than the conventional method, due to multi-directional projections of multiple EI sets; whereas a conventional system produces a viewing zone using only a single set of EI projection.
         Ø The viewing angle of the reconstructed image is enhanced.
